Development Land: New Call for Sites
24th February 2016

Do you have land which may have potential for housing or commercial development?
Central Bedfordshire, South Bucks and Chiltern District Councils are all currently requesting expressions of interest from anyone with land that may be suitable for development over the next 5- 10 years in order to help them create a 5 year land supply.

The team at Landscope are experienced in submitting applications on behalf of clients and pushing sites through the list to ensure they are favourably considered in the allocation process. In the event that you have a site that you feel may have longer term development potential and would like to discuss your options please do not hesitate to contact us. In the event that the local authority is not currently taking submissions we have a range of other options available.

We have recently made additional representations on behalf of clients to Bedford Borough Council and Aylesbury Vale District Council. We have a track record of securing small, medium and large large scale development on sites in Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough.

A call for sites is a mechanism used by Local Planning Authorities to obtain a broad range of potential development sites within their district. Typically LPA’s make a call requesting sites when they are formulating their Local Plan policy documents. Authorities in the Northern Home Counties are under pressure to develop land and increase the supply of housing.

If you have a site that you think might have development potential, contact us now on 01525 630113 for a chat in confidence.
